Keiki Bike Education
A new initiative designed to teach essential biking skills to children aged 7-13 to instill a lifelong love for cycling, promote physical and mental well-being, and foster environmental stewardship through engaging activities. This program will provide children with the skills and confidence they need to ride safely and responsibly. Learn more.
3-Foot Law Signage
A 3-Foot Safe Passing Law was passed and signed in 2018, yet no road signage has been implemented to educate roadway users about the law. The Maui Bicycling League is leading an effort to install 3-Foot Law signage where it is needed most. We need your support! Learn more and suggest a signage location.
WMG: Action Needed
We support the proposed relocation of a 6.5-miles segment of Honoapiʻilani Highway mauka to safeguard the WMG against the impacts of climate change. However, it is essential that this project also seizes the opportunity to enhance active transportation options and preserve the vision of the West Maui Greenway (WMG). Your action is needed!
Traffic Fatalities Up 17%
The Hawaiʻi DOT recently announced that 59 people have been killed in traffic related crashes statewide from January through July 2024; a 17% increase from the same time last year. Learn more.
Bikes 4 Maui
Bikes 4 Maui is here to support survivors and victims of the wildfires on Maui by providing bikes to aid in your recovery and transportation needs. We’re working with other local organizations to collect and distribute bikes to those who need them. Learn more.
Report-A-Crash
